THE ENGLISH TAXI AS ENGLISH AS THE TOWER BRIDGE London taxis are almost as iconic to the British capital as the Tower Bridge, Buckinham Palace and Piccadilly Circus. The ‘black cabs’ (and nowadays basically all colours) have been driving around since the end of the Second World War. We don’t have taxis in the Netherlands, here we only have passenger cars. The cars have the dimensions of a family car, but the interior space of a passenger bus. This car is also called the purpose-built taxi.
Getting in and out easily thanks to the wide and high doors.

You have a beautiful spacious view all around because the car is also rather high. (But usually the bridal couples have more eye for each other)
It also fits a (small) wheelchair, so also ideal for disabled people for a ride to wherever you want on different occasions and - your wedding of course! Look: demonstration

This wedding car has plenty of space with seating for five people plus the driver. For example, the bridesmaids, witnesses or photographer can sit on two folding chairs opposite the bridal couple. There’s a step to get in and out and a swivel seat, so it’s easy for people who have difficulty walking. A wheelchair can be transported too, ideal as a beautiful wedding car for the disabled! The bride can get in and out easily without creasing her wedding dress, thanks to the wide, high doors that swing open a full 90 degrees - and the groom can keep his top hat on!
